I think about how urban and urbanising regions can grow under big transitions. I use a combination of theoretical, empirical and modelling methods to think about this. ︎ As an urban planner and architect, I study the systemic evolution of cities under the pressure of climate change. My doctoral work at TU Delft focuses on Urban Planning Under Climate Uncertainty, specifically examining the integration of short-term actions with long-term climate commitments. My methodology leverages: Systems Thinking: Analyzing cities as interconnected, dynamic evolving organisms.Foresight &amp; Scenario Planning: Developing strategies that remain robust across multiple climate futures.Data Equity: Investigating how disparities in geospatial knowledge impact the resilience of developing regions. By bridging the gap between high-level policy and on-the-ground spatial planning, I aim to create frameworks that allow cities to thrive despite environmental volatility. ︎ Professionally, I have provided knowledge support on urban development, resilient infrastructure, disaster risk reduction, and public health to the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), Center for Urban Disaster Risk Reduction + Resilience,&nbsp;National Disaster Management Authority of India, and National Institute of Public Finance and Policy .&nbsp; I received the C40 Women4Climate mentorship and the TU Delft Global Fellowship.
